Another Golden Day in Las Vegas

How’s everybody’s week been? Feeling alive I hope. Another golden day here in Vegas--

Was nice—86 dees-grees, lots of sun and a Vegas-styled breeze . . . summer is coming.

With Danny Gans gone yesterday, it’s quiet now; the phones having stopped announcing. Our collective Hats are off to ya, Danny. And most folks don’t know an even better part of Danny—all told, millions raised for kids’ charities! Now that’s a man. A real hu-man. We’re gonna miss you!

And the light from the Luxor tonite is faint from my perspective, fading & introspective . . .

Now that we’re on the same page, my pick of the week is “Crossroads”, the Danny Roberts Solo Exhibition on May 7th from 6 to 9pm. Stop by Brett Wesley Contemporary Fine Art Gallery. For more info: 702.433.4433.

The Lion King is here at Mandalay Bay Theatre. Ticketmaster 800.745.3000.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is hosting “The High Heels Poker Tour Academy”, on June 5th & 6th. 702.693.5000 for info.

Marlena Shaw is performing with The Count Basie Orchestra on May 24th at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall at UNLV, 3-4pm. 702.895.ARTS (2787) for more information.

Jackson Browne with his Band, August 15th, at 8pm, Red Rock Casino, 702.797.7777.

Spent some time playing Major Domo at CastleRancho.com; anybody know how to spell Major Domo??

Check out the photos & Virtual at http://www.CastleRancho.com.

See ya on the Strip . . .
